Dubai Expo 2020 to host award-winning global Michelin star chefs

The much-awaited six-month extravagant event of this year in Dubai, Expo 2020 will host award-winning globally famous Michelin starred chefs and exciting, new dining concepts will be unveiled across roughly 200-plus eateries. This grand affair will include some Expo-exclusive eateries to suit every budget and every palate.

More than 20 celebrity chefs, including Matthew Kenney, Mory Sacko, and David Myers, will represent the best of the best restaurants. These restaurants have earned Michelin stars – the global hallmark of culinary excellence and fine dining. The 191 participating countries also will serve original dishes and drinks at their pavilions.  Some internationally-acclaimed restaurants will make their grand debut at the Dubai Expo 2020.

Visitors will be able to eat delicious cuisines from around the world without leaving the UAE. Restaurants with brand new concepts making their debut at Expo 2020 Dubai are Adrift Burger Bar and The National Bar & Dining Rooms. At Adrift Burger Bar, American’ Gypsy Chef’ David Myers will combine classic American fast food with an international influence and at The National Bar & Dining Rooms, celebrated Armenian-American chef, Geoffrey Zakarian, will offer modern bistro cuisine from breakfast to dinner. Matthew Kenney will employ his skill to bring stunning renditions of American, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean flavors. Mory Sacko will bring his skilled French techniques to the table to create his signature cuisine, a fusion of African and Japanese cuisines.

Rohit Ghai, a highly-acclaimed chef, will bring his much-awaited restaurant named Kutir from London’s Chelsea to debut at Expo 2020. Italian restaurant Scarpetta will bring its first Burrata Bar to the event.

Expo 2020 will also introduce Talabat, a cloud kitchen with delivery robots, robotic baristas, and a fleet of riders from the food delivery platform.

Local favorites with cuisines from India to Ireland include Al Farwania, an Indian gem; classic UAE brands such as Arabian Tea House; a Filipino hotspot, Dampa Seafood Grill, Thai street food brand Long Chim; Pakistani street food go-to, Ravi Restaurant; Chicken Tikka Inn; Maraheb Yemeni Restaurant; biryani specialists Al Farwania Restaurant; Lebanese stalwart Al Reef Bakery; Sarouja Restaurant & Café, and Hanon Feras Sweets.
