Atlas Investissement, an investment firm of French billionaire Xavier Niel acquires 2.5% interest in Vodafone Group PLC. Atlas Investissement finds Vodafone as an attractive investment opportunity as per the company’s asset portfolio and solid fundamental developments in the global telecommunication sector.

Leading the developments in the early years when telecommunication sector was advancing, Vodafone has shown impeccable enterprising spirit and quality leadership that inspired other telecommunication start-ups attracted Atlas Investissement to acquire its stakes. With this investment, Xavier Neil expands the firm’s presence in telecommunications department in Europe.
