The Microsoft Corporation is going to open 50,000 square feet office in the Brickell neighborhood in Miami, Florida. This endeavor is going to prove beneficial to the Miami technology industry and will improve the business associations that Miami holds with Latin America and the Caribbean.

Microsoft in Miami, Florida

The 50,000 square feet office will facilitate a vast number of employments and boost the tech industry in Miami, owing to Microsoft’s renowned brand identity.

The Microsoft office in Miami will serve as the Latin American and Caribbean regional headquarters and will sell services to Latin American consumers. This corporate division of Microsoft will house comparatively highly paid executives.

The office at the Brickell neighborhood will prove to be a major boost for major corporations that hold operations in the Latin American and Caribbean region.

Miami has been striving to evolve as one of the biggest technology hubs in America. This new office will contribute to this goal.

The corporation is also aware of the advantages present in South Florida. In 1994, the corporation opened an office in Fort Lauderdale with around 20 employees at a time when the Miami market lacked solidity. The corporation stayed in Fort Lauderdale for almost 30 years with an in-house capacity of around 400 employees.

Currently, Microsoft is approaching the capital of South Florida, which is the core of Miami. The corporation has witnessed massive growth in the past 18 months owing to business withdrawals from the Northeast and other tax-challenged areas of the United States.

The Microsoft office at Brickell is set to open in 2022 in the 830 Brickell building. The Latin American region is dependent on the corporation to revive its economy after the effects of the COVID19 pandemic.
