World of Coffee Exhibition is a top-tier coffee trade show for visitors and exhibitors from the Middle east as well as from various parts of the world
The World of Coffee Exhibition’s second edition will take place in Dubai, in collaboration with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) to promote the Middle East’s coffee industry. The exhibition will be held in the year 2023, from 11-14 January at the Dubai World Trade Center. The World of Coffee Exhibition is a top-tier coffee trade show for visitors and exhibitors from the Middle east as well as from various parts of the world. The event is organized especially for the coffee industries of the Middle East and for entrepreneurs who hope to become a part of the nation’s emerging coffee industry.
The Middle East and Africa witnessed a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 7.5% during the forecast period of five years (2020-2025) and the rise in revenue aided the coffee industry of the region to have significant growth and progress. The second edition of the world of coffee exhibition will be organized by DXB LIVE, which is the integrated event management and exploratory agency of the Dubai World Trade Center.
The event aims at integrating coffee manufacturers, traders, producers, retailers, and wider industry networks from the region and other parts of the world. The event management company also announced the agreement with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) to organize the exhibition for a period of five years. With this agreement, the exhibition will be presented in MENA in the coming years to take benefit from the potential the region has to offer. The show launches with Guatemala which is exemplified by Guatemalan Coffees as the year’s portrait country.
Europe’s premier coffee trade show returning to Dubai for the second time has more than tripled in size over the past six years having 10,945 visitors and more than 230 exhibitors from the early visitor span of 3000 with 45 exhibitors. The show is considered the top summer event for the global coffee industry attracting the leading coffee around the world and the Horeca industry suppliers.
The growing demand for coffee and café culture in countries like Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia could be seen in the increasing number of specialty cafes in the region. With the goals of the Specialty Coffee Association of America and Specialty Coffee Association of Europe, the UAE coffee professionals have proposed an establishment of a National Chapter of the Specialty Coffee Association in the month of March 2014. On January 2017, Specialty Coffee Association UAE Chapter (SCA UAE) was formally recognized as an official SCA chapter. The first World of Coffee Exhibition Dubai, gathered around 200 exhibitors from various parts of the world, embracing more than 7000 visitors, competitions, more than 20 workshops, and show features.
Numerous significant agreements were made between distributors, farmers, and traders. The internationally recognized stores, coffee chains, and baristas were successful in portraying their abilities in the competitions that were introduced during the event. World of Coffee Exhibition’s last day saw the announcement of the winners of the top awards, which could be compared to some of the most influential tournaments in the world.
