Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG), a leading hospitality investment and management company based in Dubai, and Maximal Concepts, a global F&B group behind some of Hong Kong’s top restaurants and bars, have announced the launch of Mott 32 in the Middle East by Q4 2022.

The highly awaited opening celebrates the Hong Kong culture and synchronously indicates the arrival of Chinese fine dining to Dubai’s diverse culinary sector. Mott 32 has become renowned for its philosophy of farm-to-table cooking, delivering Chinese flavors in a rustic and sustainable way, since its opening eight years ago.

The Chief Executive Officer of Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG), Antonio Gonzalez, said that Mott 32 would introduce a new chapter of Chinese dining to Dubai’s restaurant sector. The focus would mainly emphasize on sustainability, tradition, and best quality ingredients. It is a restaurant that exemplifies the culture and philosophy of China that has been shaped across generations. He added that they are excited to share their experience and are very eager to welcome their guests to this new dining destination.

Exciting time

The co-founder, managing director, and culinary director of Maximal Concepts said that this is an exciting time in their company’s history. With their eighth global branch set to open in Dubai, Mott 32 would host a unique, luxurious yet comfortable experience with a standard of authentic Chinese cuisine that is not yet in existence.

Visitors can expect delightful traditional Cantonese dishes prepared with a modern flair along with flavors of other regional cuisines from China. Group Chinese Executive Chef Lee Man Sing, acclaimed in the Chinese culinary scene, will be leading the kitchen at Mott 32 Dubai along with Dubai Head Chef in charge Yang Tao.

Award-winning interior designer Joyce Wang Studio has maintained traditional Chinese decor with industrial elements, creating a bold design that features a combination of both Western and Eastern cultural influences.

Stunning views

Mott 32 would have an indoor area and open-air balcony terrace with stunning views of the Bluewater Island, JBR, Palm Jumeirah and the Ain Dubai. Located on the 73rd floor of the Address Beach Resort, the 231-seater houses one of the city’s finest modern dining restaurants.

About Mott 32

Mott 32 is one of the leading Chinese restaurants in the world. Set up in Hong Kong, Mott 32 pays homage to 32 Mott Street in New York, where the city’s first Chinese convenience store started in 1891. Their contemporary Chinese restaurant in the heart of Central is a celebration of Hong Kong culture and culinary tradition and signifies a modern Chinese city.
