UAE-based Emaar Entertainment has joined hands with Saudi Arabia’s General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) Investment Ventures in a move to expand and operate its Reel cinemas chain into the Kingdom.

Managed by Emaar Entertainment, the Reel cinemas will make an appearance in its first KSA venue in Riyadh this December.

The partnership has aggressive plans to expand into the Kingdom’s entertainment market, which means reaching to places where cinema is not accessible. In the next five years, the audiences can anticipate 20 venues across the Kingdom that will include both family entertainment centers and cinemas.

Soon after the third anniversary of the re-opening of cinemas in Saudi Arabia, the announcement of Reel cinemas made the news. The plan is expected to create several career opportunities with the aid of SAR1 Billion ($270 Million) investment along with bringing diversity to the table.

The first Reel Cinemas in Riyadh will be boasting what the subsequent cinemas will deploy in their rapid expansion across Saudi Arabia, which constitutes high-class customer service, stunning dining scenes, and industry-leading auditorium experiences.

In the past three years, around 34 cinemas were opened in 12 cities of the Kingdom. Over 70 outlets are expected to open shortly.
