CEVA Logistics brings to the partnership an extensive portfolio of aerospace logistics expertise developed over decades.
In a significant development for the aerospace logistics sector, CEVA Logistics has been appointed to oversee the regional distribution operations of Airbus Helicopters in the Asia-Pacific region. This strategic move underscores both companies’ confidence in deepening their long-standing partnership while enhancing the agility of helicopter parts supply across one of the fastest-growing markets in the world.
The appointment follows a formal contract between CEVA Logistics and Airbus Helicopters, with the latter inaugurating a dedicated regional distribution facility in Singapore’s Airport Logistics Park on 2 February 2026. Situated in a free-trade zone adjacent to Changi Airport, the site forms part of CEVA’s already substantial logistics footprint in the city-state, where it operates more than 18,000 square metres of specialised warehousing.
At its core, the collaboration aims to refine and accelerate the availability of critical helicopter parts and components for customers across the Asia-Pacific region. The new platform is meticulously designed to handle highly sensitive aerospace inventory, featuring temperature-controlled storage zones maintained within strict environmental parameters to ensure the integrity of components throughout the supply chain. This precision is pivotal given the complexity and safety requirements intrinsic to aerospace parts handling.
CEVA Logistics brings to the partnership an extensive portfolio of aerospace logistics expertise developed over decades. Its services encompass round-the-clock operations, customs clearance, multimodal transport solutions, spare parts management, and dedicated Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support – a suite of capabilities indispensable for manufacturers and operators seeking optimal readiness and responsiveness in service delivery.
From a strategic perspective, the appointment of CEVA is also a reflection of Airbus Helicopters’ broader ambition to expand and intensify its footprint in Asia-Pacific. The region’s helicopter market is projected to undergo substantial growth through the remainder of the decade, with forecasts suggesting an increase in demand that positions Asia-Pacific as a focal point for both civil and defence aviation activity. CEVA’s global reach – spanning 170 countries with aerospace specialists across 25 dedicated AOG desks – equips Airbus Helicopters with the logistical backbone required to service this demand effectively.
Importantly, the Singapore facility will not operate in isolation. It stands as part of a broader regional network that includes existing and emerging distribution nodes, complementing Airbus Helicopters’ commitment to service excellence. By consolidating storage and distribution capabilities in a central hub while maintaining connections to other parts of the Asia-Pacific logistics ecosystem, Airbus seeks to deliver greater operational predictability and customer satisfaction.
The choice of Singapore as the logistics hub is noteworthy. Beyond its status as a major aviation and trade gateway, Singapore offers robust infrastructure, business-friendly regulatory frameworks, and connectivity that make it an optimal base for regional supply chain operations. This aligns with Airbus Helicopters’ strategic objectives of enhancing service reliability and reducing lead times in markets that span from Australia and New Zealand to Southeast Asia and beyond.
In announcing the expansion of cooperation, executives from both companies emphasised the importance of leveraging local expertise alongside global best practices. CEVA Logistics’ history of collaboration with Airbus spans more than four decades, during which it has played a key role in supporting material distribution, logistics innovation, and supply chain resilience. This enduring relationship positions CEVA not merely as a service provider but as a critical strategic partner capable of anticipating and responding to dynamic market requirements.
For Airbus Helicopters, the appointment represents both an operational enhancement and a reaffirmation of its service philosophy. In a market where uptime and parts availability are crucial to customer success, building a distribution system that is both responsive and adaptive can translate directly into competitive advantage. It enables operators to benefit from reduced downtime, faster access to essential components, and greater confidence in the continuity of their missions.
