Dubai issues Esaad card to senior citizens, people with limited income and people of determination to improve the quality of life and promote an environment of inclusivity. Esaad card is issued under the decrees of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and chairman of Dubai executive council.
The card is issued in the interest of Higher Committee for Development and Citizen’s Affair to ensure a happy and fulfilling life for its citizens. The Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, Ahmed Abdul Karim Julfar states that issuing the card to senior citizens, people with less income and people of determination aids in improving the social welfare of Dubai and UAE.
Dubai’s initiative to issue the card is a part of the assistance offered to various social categories in which multiple departments like Dubai Police, Local Military pensions, General Directorate of Residency, Foreign Affairs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi Pension Fund contacts eligible people for the purpose of issuing cards.
