Hero MotoCorp, an Indian multinational motorcycles and scooters manufacturer, revealed its partnership with Gilera Motors (Argentina) on 13th October (Wednesday). The partnership will allow the former to broaden its operations in one of the chief markets in Latin America.

Hero MotoCorp and Gilera Motors have arrived at an arrangement in which Gilera Motors will emerge as the special distributor for the service and sale of Hero MotoCorp scooters and motorcycles in Argentina. Gilera Motors will also facilitate new investments in the Indian automaker’s operations to boost the business growth curve, the latter explained in a statement.
With over 68 years of constant operations, Gilera Motors is one of the best automotive firms in Argentina. The manufacturer is one of the most well-established and permanent motorcycle producers in Latin American geography.
The automaker stated that Hero MotoCorp and Gilera Motors possess an active extension blueprint that is inclusive of boosting the sales and service links throughout Argentina. The plan also includes a flagship store in Buenos Aires where consumers can witness the Indian automaker’s elite-class services and products.
The firms are also targeting facilitating the accessibility of spare parts to all its clients. Hero MotoCorp will release a new range of motorcycles in Argentina – the Xpulse 200 and the Hunk 160R, the manufacturer stated.
The Indian manufacturer presently delivers its products in over 40 countries in the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. It possesses 8 avant-garde manufacturing units, out of which 6 are present in India, and 1 each in Bangladesh and Colombia.
