Blue World Voyages is the first cruise line in the world dedicated 100 percent to sports and wellness. It offers passengers the ability to travel the world in their own luxurious ocean residence on a luxury vessel.

Blue World Co-founder and Chairman, Gene Meehan, said that wellness was not an afterthought at Blue World, but rather is in their DNA.

According to Meehan, people are recognizing the fact that they need to be responsible for their wellness. Blue World Voyages sets a precedent in this area. The core of the overall travel experience on Blue World is wellness and sports, and is not just offered as an add-on. Meehan also said that the company offers all its passengers the opportunity to take control of their lives by creating healthy habits that support longevity.

The largest fitness and athletic conditioning facility at sea can be found on the sports deck, which also includes a functional training gym, private studios for yoga, spinning and meditation, TRX training, a massive assortment of cardio equipment, swimmers treadmill, a golf training facility with simulators, and a comprehensive physical therapy laboratory.

Blue World also features a unique sea-water lap pool and marina deck, along with a range of professional water sports equipment.

Blue World also features two entire decks dedicated to spa amenities and boasts the largest Spa Deck at sea. The cruise also features a ship-wide wellness program that is unique and offered to all its passengers.

Additional features include an ocean view solarium, aft therapy pool, indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, Himalayan salt room and aromatherapy. Private outdoor deck-side Bali beds provide a luxurious option to sleep under the stars and awaken to a butler-served breakfast.

Blue World designed to be the healthiest ship at sea

In addition to unique facilities and first-of-a-kind offerings, the very design of the Blue World cruise ship is unique. The capacity of the ship has been downsized from a capacity of 1500 passengers to carrying just 500 passengers on board. Unlike mega cruise ships in past years, Blue World is able to offer crowd-free venues and a low-density travel experience to passengers. The design has been yacht-inspired, and features generous spaces and comfortable, well-appointed common areas. All these features have been incorporated in an effort by the company to create one of the healthiest ships at sea.

The focus on wellness at Blue World is not limited to facilities and structure alone, but also extends to cuisine available on board. The ship offers four specialty restaurants that include Farm-toTable, Italian, Asian and Café style. Dining is inclusive, and also has complementary grape beverages and hops served at lunch and dinner.

Luxury residences at sea with Blue World

Passengers have the option of either travelling on the ship or making it their home-at-sea. The ship features 225 well-appointed, luxurious suites, in addition to 40 Owners Residences which are being offered for private purchase.

Fredy Dellis, CEO of Blue World, explained that there was a gap in the marketplace for active Lifestyle Cruising. He said that many travelers today prioritize wellness, and some even want to own a home at sea as well as on land.

Only 40 exclusive one and two-bedroom Residences, designed by Juan Poggi Design and Tomas Tillberg Design International, are available for purchase, starting at USD2.5 million to USD3.5 million.

The cruise ship has been designed to align with the wellness goals and initiatives of cities in the Middle East like Dubai.

Although exact itineraries are yet to be finalized, the ship is expected to spend six months of the year exploring exciting and culturally rich destinations in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The second half of the year will be spent visiting ports in Greece, Italy, Spain, England, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and other regions.

Passenger prices start from USD3,500 which includes all gratuities, all meals in four specialty restaurants, grape beverages and hops with lunch and dinner, onboard wi-fi, laundry, some excursions (running, hiking, yoga), and three signature events per cruise.

The project is due to be launched in the middle of 2023.
