Digital real estate platform, Nomad Homes announced on Wednesday that it has raised $4 million seed round, which was led by Comcast Ventures along with participation from Precursor Ventures, WndrCo, Abstract Ventures, Partech, and Class 5 Global.
Headquartered in Dubai, Nomad Homes is bridging the gap between home seekers and buying/renting residential real estate through a wholesome online experience equipped with virtual tours, search tools, digital document signing, and other facilities.
Launched in June, Nomad Homes have started out in Dubai with plans of expanding in Europe.
Founder Helen Cher realizes and explains the fact that despite the Middle East, Africa, and European real estate representing over $600 billion in transactions every year, the customer needs remain unattended and that’s where she believes Nomad comes into the picture to bring the entire journey online. The startup not only aims at making the house searching experience easy but also finance it. Nomad Homes plans to use the investment to scale its US-based engineering team and grow its marketplace and services. A part of the investment will go in laying the groundwork for its second launch in Europe.
